Who is it for?

This activities club is specifically for children in school years 2 -6. It runs concurrently with Jump to enable children from the same families to attend at the same time. It includes creative crafts, a variety of games, entertaining activities, and bible stories.

When and where?

Sessions run on Tuesdays during term time from 3.30 p.m. – 5.00 p.m. in the church, entrance via Ashen Green. Exact dates are displayed on our Connect page and can also be found in the Calendar section of the website.

What happens?

As children arrive, there is usually a craft activity or the opportunity to play a board game until everyone has arrived.
During the session, we play interesting games, have quizzes and challenges then watch an episode of ‘Friends and Heroes’ which is a dvd series set in Jerusalem during the first century.
The story depicted in the DVD follows the adventures of two friends as they fight for justice and even survival against the might of the Roman Empire. Each episode contains a Bible story and application which is supported by craft, games and other activities, such as quizzes and challenges.
We provide the children with a substantial snack during the session.
