Making Quilts for Refugees
At Great Shelford Free Church Hall,
Ashen Green, Great Shelford CB22 5EY
09.30am – 15.30pm
Carole Johnson is organising two workshops: January 11th and February 8th.
The quilts will be made up from 12 X 12″ squares. You can help by providing fabric:- old shirts, dresses and sheets can be used but they must be 100% cotton. The squares can be made in any patchwork design, strips stitched together or in just one fabric.
Even if you’re unable to come on the day you could make squares at home for our team of sewers to stitch together. Help is needed in preparing the fabric i.e. ironing, cutting.
For more information please contact Carole Johnson.
Following the very popular Lino Printing workshops which took place at GSFC in the Autumn.

The aim of Create and Share is to encourage everyone no matter what level one feels they are creatively.
We all have a creative instinct inside us, but some feel more confident than others to ‘create’!
We celebrate each other’s achievements and encourage one another in all that we do as well as spending time chatting and enjoying each other’s company.
Please feel to bring friends, but let Janet Jefferson know whether you wish to come for the morning, afternoon or the full day so that she has an idea of numbers for refreshments and resources.
For further information, contact Janet Jefferson (Tel: 01223 513471 or email email@example.com )
Highlights within the report:
