Evangelical Alliance UK
Evangelical Alliance UK are the largest and oldest body representing the UK’s two million evangelical Christians. For more than 165 years, they have been bringing Christians together and helping them listen to, and be heard by, the government, media and society.
Working in partnership with local churches to present a Christian message for primary school aged children.
The Northumbria Community describes a diverse and dispersed network of people, alone and together, gathered around a Rule of Life as a Way to follow the Way. We’re quite messy and not always easy to define or pin down – as William Stringfellow once wrote, “Dynamic and erratic, spontaneous and radical, audacious and immature, committed if not altogether coherent’, ecumenically open and often experimental, visible here and there, now and then, but unsettled institutionally. Almost Monastic in nature, but most of all… enacting a fearful hope for human life in society.” We hope you’ll enjoy exploring something of who we are in these pages. You probably won’t find all of the answers to your questions, but hopefully you might find something of interest for your journey. If you’re not connected with us already, welcome and you’re always very welcome to get in touch or come and visit Nether Springs, our ‘Mother House’ and Community ‘home’.
Shelford & Stapleford Youth Initiative
For 17 years Shelford and Stapleford Youth Initiative, or SSYI, has been providing youth clubs, activities and support for the young people in Great Shelford, Little Shelford and Stapleford. SSYI is a Christian charity funded by our village churches, our Parish Councils, private donors and, for certain initiatives, grants from local funding bodies.
