Our Church Services

Sunday service:

We hold a worship service every Sunday morning in the church, starting at 10:30am and finishing about 12 noon. We’d be glad to meet you – feel free to turn up! It’s a chance to worship and pray with others, and to find out more about God.

Now that Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted we no longer require people to pre-book to attend our services. However, we still have precautions in place to keep you safe. You can read our updated Sunday Service Policy (as of September 2021) here.

From December 2021 we will be recommending that people wear face coverings in the church building. We will have disposable face masks available if needed.

We meet at:

Great Shelford Free Church
Ashen Green
Great Shelford
Cambridgeshire CB22 5EY

There is parking available on the site and the doctors surgery car park can be used on Sunday mornings.

You can expect a warm welcome, great worship, an impacting preach and a friendly bunch of people gathering to learn more about God.

We have a fantastic programme for the kids at the Church for:

Creche (Toddlers  to 3 years).   Children under 6 months are welcome.
Kids' Club (3 - 10 years) meets in the church hall
Youth group  (11 upwards) meets in the Loft

Children will stay in the service with their families for the first 15 minutes of the service, and will then go through to the hall for their own activities. For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the Children's Ministry page.

After the main meeting finishes there will an be opportunity for prayer if needed.

Come and join us!

Friday service:

Why should worship be restricted to Sundays? At GSFC it isn’t!  Every Friday morning from 11.00 am we have a coffee and share time followed at 11.30 by a bible study/communion or scripture in song.    You don’t have to be a member at GSFC to attend, just come along. We’d be glad to meet you.  It’s a chance to worship, share and pray with others and to find out more about God.

The church is equipped with a hearing loop and there are toilets accessible to disabled people.

No monetary collection is taken at our services, although very occasionally a special appeal is supported with the agreement of the attendees.

Please note our Friday service is currently not taking place due to Covid-19.

If you have any questions about our services or need to get in touch with us about any other enquiry we will be happy to help. Please Contact Us for more information.
