Community Café

The Community Café at Great Shelford Free Church (GSFC) takes place on Mondays: 10am until 12 noon.

The church building, and outdoor space at the front of church, gives us an ideal opportunity to provide a café style experience with a direct entrance from the High Street in Great Shelford.

The café provides a safe, warm and friendly environment where people in the local community can socialise with others, enjoy refreshments together and, perhaps, join in with some activities and seek advice if needed.

Light refreshments such as tea, coffee, cake and biscuits are provided for which attendees may make a donation if they wish.

Members of GSFC provide a ‘thought for the day’. Through these talks, we aim to present the Christian message as well as promote Christian activities in the local, national and international communities. This helps us demonstrate one of the differences between GSFC’s Community Café and other cafes in our immediate area.
