We believe looking after God’s creation is a key part of being a Christian. For, as we love Christ more, we should care about the things that Christ loves.
At Great Shelford Free Church we have been on an Eco-journey for the last 6 years. The Eco church scheme, run by A Rocha*, includes over 2,000 churches in the UK. The scheme was set up to demonstrate that the gospel is good news for God’s creation. The scheme looks at five core aspects of the church, including worship, community engagement, land and buildings.
