Prayer at Great Shelford Free

Introduction
Jesus said (Matthew 11:28 NIV) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” There are a number of opportunities to join in the prayer life at
Great Shelford Free Church. These include:

Opportunities for prayer after our Sunday morning meeting
After we meet together (10.30am - approx 11.30am) as a church on Sunday mornings, members of the Prayer Ministry Team are available for prayer. You can find them in the main sanctuary, seated under our church banner pictured below.

Sunday evening prayer meeting online
Most Sunday evenings we have an online prayer meeting, 8pm till 8:40pm via Zoom. Details on how to join the meeting are given in our weekly newsletter, The Link.

Friday Prayer Gathering
Once a month, we meet on a Friday (10:30am till 11:30am) to pray for one another, for the church, the community and for the wider world. The dates for when these meetings take place are advertised in our weekly newsletter, The Link, or can be found on the online calendar by clicking here.

Prayer Request Box
In the lounge area of the church we have a Prayer Box for written requests for prayer. Paper and pens are available on top of the collection box.

The Prayer Chain
We have a team of people who have been called by God to provide confidential prayer cover for those in, or connected with, our fellowship and for those in the community. This may be prayer for illness, job interviews, church events, problems facing family or friends, difficult meetings, or anything where people feel prayer cover is needed.
