Is Christianity a set of rules? For many, religion is simply about trying to do the right things and avoid wrongs, but being a Christianity is all about our relationship with God and should show in our relationships with others. In this study, based on Acts 15 v 22-41, we look at the requirements placed on Gentile believers and consider whether they, or similar rules, apply to a modern believer.

Do Christians always agree? And when and how should disagreements be dealt with? In Acts 15 v 1-21 we find Paul and Barnabas challenging the teachings of a group of believers who’ve travelled to spread a false message amongst Gentile believers. How do they deal with this and what is the outcome?

What should my priorities be? As Paul and Barnabas carry on their missionary journey they face opposition. How do they respond, and what does this teach us about our responsibilities as Christians? In this study we look at Acts chapter 14.

Do I choose God, or does He choose me? This question has puzzled many people and has caused some to question God’s fairness or His love. As Paul continues on his first ‘missionary journey’ we consider, from Acts 13 v 13-52, how Paul explains the Gospel to his hearers and what we can learn from this about how God forgives and saves us.

Is it easy to be a Christian? You might think so when you look at some church-goers, but how was it for the believers in the early Church at Antioch? In this study, based on Acts 12 v 25-13 v 12 we look at how the early Church lived and how they followed the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Does God answer prayer? When the apostle Peter is arrested following the execution of the apostle James the church prays – but are surprised when Peter is set free! This study is based on Acts 12 v 1-24 and will encourage us to keep praying even when things seem hopeless.
